Because of BMW's incentives on the X5 xDrive35d, I am considering purchasing one. However, I have not bought a new BMW in a looong time. I would appreciate it if LSC members would give me advice about DFW dealers and/or salespeople who will treat me right.
Thanks!

Being treated right has different meaning to different people. Some people want a fair price, others like to be treated like they are important even though they pay top dollar. Some people don't like the games the salespeople play. If you do your homework about pricing and you go in their and be upfront with the salesperson and say "I am only willing to pay a X% over your cost and be firm" you should not have a problem.

Quite frankly, this is one reason why I don't like buying new. My vehicle was recently rear-ended and is being fixed right now. I would rather spend the money and get it over with one-time and be done than to have to go and deall with a salesperson.

And if I had to buy used, I would rather deal with an individual because usually these people just want to sell and get money to go buy the next new one.

Also, there is a company  called E-car one(located on I-35s in Carrollton, just south of Sandy lake rd) that sells lease buybacks with low mileage( some as low as 7,000 miles). I consider those new, some even have that new car smell. Their prices are way below MSRP.

Check them out on-line.

Good luck.

Eric

By far one of the most knowledgeable(about BMW products), most courteous, most enthusiastic dealer salesman I have ever met is at Autobahn and his name is Joe Levine.  Joe is a great guy that also appreciates and drives a BMW and has owned many.  Even if you don't buy he is a really cool guy.  In all the years of doing what I do I have only accumulated two car/BMW salesmen that I will refer people too and of those two Joe is the only one at a BMW dealership.  With that said I can not speak for how competitive Autobahn and Joe are in their pricing against the other 3 dealers.  If you decide to try him out please shoot me an email and let me know how it goes.
