According to the below chart, somebody traded a '91 M3 in for Cash for Clunkers. What were they thinking?! I find it hard to believe one in rough shape would go for more than $4500. This is extra annoying after reading the tidbit about the E30 M3s at the Oktoberfest German car show about a huge portion of them are no longer around. *sigh* I see an 850i and old M5s on the list as well.

| Believe it or not, I'VE actually run across a couple E30 M3s that even I thought were too far gone to save, and thus did not buy. However, any M3 is worth $4500 if parted out. Hopefully before crushing this M3 went to a salvage yard and the parts from it went to keep other E30 M3s on the road (or track!). Sadly, the S-14 had to be put down. Also, this one is reportedly a 91 model, or which only about 380 were built in that year. At least we know it wasn't a Henna car. Enjoy your new Kia, jerk!
