| I've purchased Honeywell filters from filter solution. Now HomeDepot caries 20x25x4 so I purchased a different brand last time from them.

Home Depot or Lowe's... I prefer Home Depot.. I use the 3M filters

These look too low end for me. I learned by going to Home Depo and holding several face up and then sprinkling some dirt onto them; the cheep ones let the dust fall right through. As a result I spend $15 on each one and replace them every 3 months. Mine are the same size as yours.

| i picked up the 3M ultra Allergen ones, they are supposed to last 3 months and filter out almost everything. thnx for the reply guys

Those are the ones I use. A little more expensive at about $15 a piece, but filters much better.

but then again, its once in 3 months only. it works out to abt 30cents/day, not a bad deal for clean air in the house

My filters are $40 each and I have 3 of them. I only replace them every 18 months so it works out to about 20 cents a day. But writing a check for $120 each time sucks air.
