Fellow CCA'ers,

I am looking for a car show to attend that is more "BMW" friendly, as opposed to the usual shows around here. Most of the ones I have attended (Been a couple of years) have been primarily focused on American Hot Rods and Muscle, with the only foreign makes, being the Honda's, WRX's, Mitsu's, etc. (I live in Collin County, BTW)

Any helpful hints would be appreciated. Thanks, as I am trying to get back into this car thang!

Regards, Michael

I'm not sure if you mean official type shows in a convention center or casual ones. There's a gathering that Stett Performance is putting on this Saturday, which should be mostly BMWs.

More on the casual side, not concours types events. This Stett Performance Event looks interesting and is exactly like something I am looking for. I know they used to have shows at the "Chuck's" locations and Sonic's around the Metroplex. Just looking to get back into the swing of things in the Auto World...

Thanks for the reply.

I believe there was also some talk of our local chapter doing a show & shine event sometime later this year.

Drew, I believe I remember (the local chapter) having a car show, once a year. I would be in for that as well. I have been lurking since 2004, and remember seeing some articles in the local publication.

Yea, come to the Stett car show tomorrow - its going to be very casual, and has food, vendors with cool products (like us!), and should be a blast. 12-3 pm.
