On my drive up from Austin this afternoon in the E34, the evaporator froze up and wouldn't allow any airflow through the vents. I'm unsure if the freeze-up was a result of low refrigerant, clogged drain line, etc. so I'm looking for a good AC repair shop to take a look at the system. Any recommendations would be very helpful.
I am located close to downtown near Love Field.
Thanks,
Steve M.

Your best AC shop will be the one that works on, and specializes in BMW service and repairs. There are several good shops that support our chapter, this will be the first place you will want to start. Louden and 911 in Dallas are probably closest to you. Give either one a call, both are exceptional shops and very qualified to handle your issue. You can get to either of their websites at the chapters website via this link http://www.lscbmwcca.org/advertisers.html
