I have a buyer in MD asking for a bill of sale.  I've never seen one.  Does anyone have an example I could refer to?  Thanks!

you shouldn't show him the bill of sale from your purchase. If he's asking to do a bill of sale when he's going to purchase your e30, then thats fine. You can find a template on office online or just email: eduardk.eduard@gmail.com and I will email you a template.

I think there is also a form that you get form the tax office that confirms the deal to the state to protect you. That way if the person hesitates to register the car in their name you would not be liable after the sale date. I sold a truck a few years ago and the guy basically never register the truck in his name and rode around on what were my plates. Since the buyer had never actually transfered the title they initially came after me for a bunch of tickets...a real hassle to get resolved.
