| My car's power windows haven't worked in awhile and I've busted the passenger manual override. Hmm, good name for a band - Manual Override. Anyway, they seemed to quit around the time I removed the aftermarket alarm but I've taken a good long look under the dash and can't see any cut wires. When I removed the alarm I was very careful and I'm pretty sure it was a stand alone that didn't have any connection to the windows. My lighted switches won't light up, and the #17 fuse and K5 relay are good. No current. I checked my Bently and discovered there is a circuit breaker where I cannot find it. Does anybody know where it is or better yet have a photo to post? I hadremoved the door open chime relay long ago, but according to the manual this has no connection w/the windows. Any and all help is much appreciated, this is very frustrating. Forgot to mention that the cruise control stopped working at the same time. Thanks,

| Problem fixed/egg on face. I checked my Bentley manual and discovered a circuit breaker in the pw circuit. So I started unsuccessfully digging up under the dash looking for something that looked like a switch. Then someone on Bimmerforums said, "hey dumb*ss, it's the switch on the dash next to the hazard. You know, the one that's not labelled." Months ago I had removed it to install my pimp-a-rific stereo and never got around to reassembly. Unearthed it amidst my mountain o' electric parts. At least now I can use my a/c again! Hopefully this may help someone else if their IQ drops well into the single digits like mine did.

| You get a big fat "A" for effort. Many of us, including me, would have quit way back.

| Not going to ask what the "A" stands for, but thanks for the compliment. Next project is to slap on my 'i' head. Now where did I put that 7 year old barely used t-belt....
