| Looks like the Porsche Club of America (Maverick region) is going to try a new venue for AX -- Birdville ISD Stadium. I will probably go try it out and report back, but I figured I would post it here in case anyone else was interested in trying it or just stopping buy. It is on 3/30. More info on their web site. BTW, they're just as snobby as those BMW owners. But not as smart-a$$ as the Miata drivers.

I should check this out....it's 5-10 mins from my house. Are they different from the BMW CCA? What is their website?

| Their web site is http://mav.pca.org/. They usually have pretty technical courses. They have a new AX chairman this season, so I do not know if there will be any changes. They are a pretty good group. Last season, they only allowed 5 runs based on rules from the national organization.

| I dont think BMW quite comes close to PCA in the snobby dept. Have we considered running events at Birdville? It's even closer to my house, 3mi, than Pennington, 4mi. Hurray!

I think you would be surprised how 'normal' these guys are. Most of them are just like you and me -- driving as much as the budget allows, so you have a lot of 914s, 944s, Boxters, and older 911s. You don't really see too many newer cars. Let's see how Birdville goes before lobbying for a BMW event there.

| Tried to respond last night but couldn't login. I shouldn't have generalized. I certainly wasn't speaking of the PCA AX'ers and general membership. I meant some of the ruling class.
