Thanks

the link on the LSC website for registration is not active but this appears to be the proper link.

I just signed up as an instructor so it looks like it's working and active.

Ok, checked this morning and the DE link was active now, and I signed up for it.

There is a shop at MSR to try on and purchase helmets, correct?  Is there anywhere else to get a helmet?

If I remember right, they don't have a large selection. However, they do have some really nice ones. I'd give them a call and see if they have what you're looking for (Performance Speed Tech - PST).

If you are just getting started get an M2005 at a motorcycle shop.  Or try on at the shop and buy online.  You shouldnt have any trouble getting a helmet for about $100.

I've been looking for ahelmet at the bike shops.  Where on the helmet does it shoe "M2005?"  I onle see the "DOT/Snell" logo on the back bottom of the helmet.  The sales  people never know the naswer when I ask how I can prove its Snell M2005 approved.

Thanks

It's a silver sticker, a little smaller than 3 postage stamps, under the padding inside the helmet.  Mine is near the crown but my lining is removable.

Oh and the sticker has to be there.  They will look at it when they inspect the helmet.
