First, I have a 2002 Subaru WRX that I bought recently for the purpose of daily driver and drivers school car.

Does anybody have suggestions for a while-u-wait tech inspection for The Drivers Edge inspection form in the Fort Worth area? Their form looks like it requires an ASE tech inspection.

It looks like an hour-type inspection to me.

The only tech inspection I've had from a proper mechanic was at Lonestar Bavarian. With an appt it would be while you wait.

Call trent (not sure if he would do this, since the car is not a BMW ) at Lone Star or take the car to Teape Subaru in the mid cities

I usually have a shop do it while they are changing the oil. I would second the Teape Subaru recommendation.
