8.7/10. Very decent dry performance, the best wet performance I've experienced, both wet grip and resistance to hydroplaning.  They've gone UP on price with increased popularity, so I'm not sure they're worth the higher price. They used to be a semi-bargain.

I'd recommend Falken FK-452 tires as well. I'm very happy with the ones I have in the rear of my car and they're a lot cheaper than the F1 GS-D3.  In the range of cheaper tires, I've also tried Hankook Ventus Sport K104 and I'd say the FK452 is superior.

I have a pair of FK-452s for sale in size 275/35-18. Tread is in excellent condition. Very low miles and never tracked. Email me for pictures if interested. Price is $ 170 for the pair.

About to replace my tires but am concerned about getting them mounted without scaring my wheels (style 42). I live around George Bush and Coit.

I CHECKED OUT THOSE FALKENS ON EDGERACING AND I LIKE THE THREAD PATTERN AND THE WAY THEY DESCRIBE THE TIRE. SEEM LIKE A GOOD BUY, ESPECIALLY AT $99 EACH VERSUS WHAT THE GOODYEAR EAGLE F1 GS-D3 WOULD COST($169) AS LISTED ON TIRERACK.

THANKS FOR ALL THE INPUT.

I KNEW YOU GUYS WOULD COME THROUGH.

Just got the Falken FK 452s over the weekend. Seems like a good tire to this point; quiet, good looks, smooth ride, so far good traction. I got the Discount Tire at Coit and G.Bush to match edge racing price $95.00 a tire (235/45R-17). Can't beat the price.
