Gang,

If you will be able to help with O'Fest next year post a reply here with your area of interest and I'll begin forming some preliminary committees.  The actual event is in late September through early October, but please keep in mind that the work will start much earlier than that.

Ideas, comments, and suggestions are also welcome in this thread, but if you are volunteering, please make it clear.

Thanks everyone and I look forward to a great O'Fest in DFW next year!

Will Atkinson

***Edit***  O'Fest will need all kinds of help, from basic planning and put together work, to a-x staging, rally planning and staffing (timing, scoring, etc), gymkhana design, set up, tear down, etc.  The DE will need support staff, the car show will need handlers and setup staff, and we will also need general administrative staff at each event to register people and make sure everything is running smoothly.  So, if you can do any of that, or if you just want to help, drop a note in the forum.  Thanks!!!

Me!  I'm not picky on my assignment.

Let's see, that's the same week as SCCA Nationals.  Hmm, drive 14 hours round trip for 6 - 60s runs (probably in the rain) or partay in Fort Worth with a bunch of Bimmer fanatics (FWD BMWs too)?

Ok, I might be a little bit dense but, there isnt too much info about the O fest, what exactly is it and what is needed as far as helping out?? What activities are usually taking place during the event time frame and the time frame preceeding the event. More than willing to help out if I can.

I edited my post above to include some event details.  They're necessarily vague because we're over a year out, but those are the general events.  I promise much, much more info will be forthcoming as we get it.

Thanks again people!

Will
