I'm asking for recommendations for a female friend in Atlanta, for an All Season tire in a 15" dia. The 15" made me think of y'all and some of the smaller sizes some run. Size is 215/65-15 and the best I have so far is the Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S, not the Exalto PE2.

The Exalto is a UTQG 400 and I do not want to go any harder.

We are looking for a high end, A/S, in this very limiting size. An alternative size is 225/60-15 but that doesn't help much with availability and she doesn't want to go any wider, in case anyone wants to know.

Thanks for the help,

Frank

I thought of the Yokohama Envigors that we have on our Accord as they are marketed as High Performance All-Weather, they have good Tire Rack test results, and I've been happy with them so far. But a look at the Tire Rack site shows the largest 15" size to be 205/65-15 which is what I happen to have. The pickings are slim in the 215/65-15 size. The Michelin's are likely the way to go.

Thanks for looking into it. Those were my thoughts too after a couple of hours researching it. Its good to know that a fellow club member came to the same conclusion.

And to sweeten the deal TR is selling them on a special at $ 99 each. A shop in Atlanta told my friend that, either Michelin or TR, is obsoleting them. It figures being 15". She will have her's installed Friday this week after they ordered them.

Thanks...Frank
