Had my 44th on friday and the UPS man delivered my E39 Bentley Manuals Vol1 and 2.
Spent most of that evening reading... Great stuff

| I just picked up a 2000 540 and have been replacing tons of stuff. I need to get one of these some day, I cant believe how much money the Bentley is. The good thing is that the car is pretty easy to work on. Already put in: Struts and springs fluid change (oil, tranyy, diff) Brakes cabin filters air filter Front windshiled gasket the rest of the week: Power Steering pump and lines water pump

| Mike, now that you have that manual, can you give me some help. 2000 540 working on replacing the waterpump and I cant figure out how to get it out of the front of the engine. I either have to remove some pipe that goes across the engine or remove the engine pulley. Any or maybe there is some other trick. Any help is appreciated.

I don't even own a E46, but I bought a used Bentley Manual for it from Jim Stieve, my dealer.
(Starting to weep) I can't help it! It was a good price and you never know, I might get one, one day...
