Anyone have a good reasonabley priced shop to do this kind of stuff.  My lease is up in a month or so and I have a few minor scratches that are over the 2" limit for BMW leases.

Thanks

Are you saying you may need to do some paint work? There is a mobile paint guy that airbrushes big scratches. I can't remember his name, but I know Classic BMW uses him to touch up their pre-owned cars. You might call their body shop and ask about it.

Did anyone ever find out who the touch up guy is?

I would also like to know who the airbrush person is, so if you find out, post his # here. I have this long scratch on the side that I need to take care of.

Also, has anyone ever repainted an entire car or knows of someone who has and if so, what the typical cost is.

much appreciated.

Eric.

I would be interested in that also. Mine has fallen victim to Bimmer Haters.

I used Colors on Parade to fix a scratch on my RX-8 rear bumper before I sold it, they did a pretty good job I had to point out the damaged area after the repair for people to see it.  I think they charged $125 bucks and came out and did it in my garage.  They didn't just touch it up though, it involved some filler to smooth out the scratch then sanding, priming, paint and clearcoat.
