Thinking about a 4.10 for my M3. A lot less $$ if I buy the ring and pinion and have it rebuilt rather than a complete swap. Any suggestions as to where I would have this done?
Thanks

Metrix Motorsports, Diffs Online and Metric Mechanic are all good. There used to be a price difference, but now they are all about the same. I think you can get the diff and send your core back. They can buy the ring and pinion for what you can probably less. I'm not sure there's any point into trying to pinch pennies on a diff. Might as well get one that's been gone thru.
But since yours is new, maybe they can just do the swap out for you. I wouldn't trust just anyone to do a gear swap on that diff.
