Update: Sold - -thanks all

I really need the extra garage space, so the time has come to part ways with my 1st and favorite Bimmer.

I'm the 3rd owner of this '87 2-door Alpine White 325e, 5-speed manual.  Car has ETA M20 engine w/ LSD.  It has been well-maintained since I bought it in 2001.  The reason this engine is solid at 217K is because the car has been on Castrol Syntec oil since 1998, and it never went more than 3500 miles between oil changes, and it's had all the major breakables replaced (header, timing belt etc).   Car was my daily driver for 5 years, and it gets great gas-mileage because of that ETA straight-6.  Pair it with 93 octane and you can clear 28mpg on the highway and 22-24mpg in the city.   Car runs well and is very reliable.

Maintenance:

2001 Timing belt replaced
2002 Oil Seals, hoses, and belts all replaced
2003 Bilstein Touring Shocks Installed
2004 Limited-Slip Differential and Transmission Oils drained/replaced.
2005 Water Pump & 2nd Timing Belt Replacement (did new timing belt since it comes out w/ water pump)
2005 Engine Header, Gasket etc Replaced & Valve Timing Adjustment @ 200K miles
2006 AC retrofitted for modern R139a: new compressor, drier, evaporator, and expansion valve.
2007 Rear Light Seals and Trunk Seal replaced.
2008 Blower fan replaced

Mods:

2001 Dash overlay installed (original dash has the typical E30 Dashboard cracks)
2003 Kenwood Radio CD/MP3 and iPod Aux Jack (Original radio included)
2004 Upgraded to 17" Wheels (Original 14" wheels still included)
2004 M3 EVO II Steering wheel
2004 Bumpers Upgraded to BMW OEM 1991 Bumpers

Only problems I am aware of (all minor) are:

1. Odo recently stopped working.  Bavarian Auto says it needs this small gear that apparently breaks on E30s, and I've ordered a replacement.  I may even install it if I get time to pull the cluster since I've done that before to replace lights.
2. Also sometimes the gas gauge sticks and you just have to tap it once or twice and it unsticks (just like a classic 22 year-old car, right?!).  It's 100% accurate and the low-fuel light still works regardless of needle position.
3. Car received the "80s bumper conversion" to 1991 BMW OEM bumpers and the rear bumper needs a little work to snugly fit the rear wheel well.  I was quoted 300-500 at Stuttgart body shop about 3 years ago and just never made time to leave the car there and do it.
4. The 17" wheels look great, but if you keep them the car NEEDS to be lowered a little so the wheels look right.  This can be done by buying sports springs and shocks.  Otherwise you could always put the original 14" wheels back on the car to have the car look stock.

Asking $2100 negotiable
