Bill, you are welcome to use my engine brace if you want. This is probably a 45 minute job, now that I have done it. The first time took about 2 hours.

hancheyb (10/2/2006)Thanks! Unfortunately, no, we won't be going to SEMA. We're going to Europe to finalize some suspension stuff and probably going to the Performance Racing show in December. We went to SEMA last year and probably will go next year. You'll have fun! Bring comfortable shoes. If you're going to Germany, have a beer for me... if Holland (where some of the bestest suspension stuff on the planet seems to come from (Ohlins, Moton, etc.), avoid the beer (but I hear the brownies are good?) Hah!) PRI would be a riot, I think... Comfy shoes are a must, no doubt!
I'd rather be autocrossing...

Very nice work, again... I'm not familiar with the e36 engine mounts - I suppose they support the motor from underneath and resist or absorb the twist (depending on the side we're talking about and acceleration versus deceleration)?
I'd rather be autocrossing...

Greg Smith (10/3/2006) Will they fit an 330/E46?This current motor mount design fits both E36 and E46. We are working on an E30 6-cylinder mount and possibly an E30 S14 mount. Speaking of S14....anyone have one laying around? An old motor mount, that is. (new one is over $100 each)

| Brian, I noticed that the drivers side of the engine is a lil saggy so its time to replce my motor mounts. It is still my daily driver but sees its fair share of AX and DE's. Would the nylon or the ply mounts be better. I classify in class G and BSP and your imput would greatly be appreciated. Michael

We've had both on the same car and I like the poly better unless it is a track only car then the "no holds barred" nylon is the way to go.
