D-Force wants to make a LTW5 fitment for E30.  I'm not sure yet, but it may start with E30 M3 (5 bolt) anyway.

So, if you guys wanted a 17x8 what would the offset need to be for:

-non M E30

-E30 M3

?

Thanks,
Brian

offset for an E30 M3 in 17 x 8 would need to be in the range of 18-22 ET

you should post this query on S14.net with a photo of the wheel.
I imagine you would get many responses.. there are very few wheels that bolt up directly.
E36 M3 fitments work, but one must uses spacers.
for example, I am currently using Kosei K-1 17 x 8.5 ( ET 38 ?) with 15 mm spacers

Non M E-30 wheels are 4 lug

Thanks Mark.  Our 318is has "18" stamped on it.  Those 14x6s(?) sure do look good.   But right, we probably won't do a 4 lug.

That's too bad - there are only 2 15" wheels that are a direct fitment for the non-M e30 and a couple of 17's, too. All are Team Dynamics wheels... Wouldn't this be a good thing for Spec e30?

I'd rather be autocrossing...

Spec E30 is a 15x7 or a 14x6 I believe.

There's actually already a poll going on S14.net about this.  Someon has talked to them about sizes and so on.

Ideally for 17x8 an E30 M3 would be about ET20.  I have E28 M5 rims on my car right now and the ET15 isn't quite enough.

Yeah I read that post.  That's funny because D-Force came to US to get information.  That thread reads "I'm having D-Force build these".  haha.

That guy's a complete joker.  I wouldn't participate in any GB's he put together anyway.

On the 4 lug you can get a huge amount of tire to fit with a 25-30 offset on a 7 inch rim.
